Description

Thanks for viewing and commenting. APO 7X and Corel Paint Shop Pro The first picture is the result of colorizing an image. The second is after applying kaliedoscope. In my opinion the second is an attractive design but for me the first is also attractive and far more interesting. What do you think?

I agree--would like to see either as a tile on a countertop.

Beautiful. I like the second one more because I love curves and so over straight lines. But that's me. :-) Corrie

This is a good question dealing with comparisons. The second in a sense has more diverse shapes but because of its symmetry views as more static due centering of the image and can visually read the image in just one quarter of the piece. The first uses a simpler image of a symmetrical cross and repeats the motif in variations of horizontal and vertical intersections. But the image as a whole is unsymmetrical with more variations in density with more variety and randomness of shapes requires the eye to move in and around the image increasing visual dramatic feel of the image and also with the juxtaposition of simple vs. complex. The first is a simple complexity and the second is a complex simplicity. To me the first has more interest.

BRAVO !
