VOTE … IF ALLOWED It’s not an age for poetry to add The gift of lovely language to sick facts. We live in times when Hitler, Stalin or Mao Would all applaud those politicians who Would turn this nation back to days when if You were a woman, black or poor you weren’t Allowed to vote; then have the gall to claim They’re just protecting us from less than one Percent who might corrupt the ballot box With fraud and think we’re ignorant enough We’ll all scream HALLEJAH for their lies. I went to war to fight for freedom; not These fascist freaks whose grand ambitions rest On greed and vanity to breed new slaves. Do mark my words. So true. Some will take your registration and will, if it has a 'D' on it, throw it away and claim they are the true patriots protecting the nation. There is real fraud going on in the country. Here is a little story I read in this morning's newspaper: As election workers throughout Florida last week began combing through registration forms filed by the state Republican Party, it wasn't hard to find ones that looked suspicious. Some had names spelled differently than signatures. Others had nonexistent addresses as homes. Some shared the same handwritting. Election supervisors in eleven counties have flagged scores of error-ridden or possibly fraudulent forms submitted statewide by the voter-registration operation under the Republican Party of Florida. Now, is there anyone who didn't see THAT coming.
