Description

Washington Pass North Cascades Highway Anybody interested in seeing this in color? I had the worst time deciding which one to post, so if you think it's worth two versions, I'll show you the other one. :)

I like this superb structure. The world stays again right???? May be? The things the most simples are often that who speak to the spirit.Congratulations Tara

It's always interesting to see the other one as well, to make a decision of a preference, a bit like the grass - that is always greener ;) but I am thinking that the wood textures could be more apparent this way, uber cool - in any case, BB

this is cool as the textures and wood grain just pop out, though it would be nice to see it in colour as well

A wonderful study in lines and textures - I love the wood grain! I think B&W suits this beautifully, but I must confess I'd like to see the color version, too. A great capture, Tara! Always a treat to see your photos - and Bill's too!

I love the way the lines and wood-grains pop out in this. I saw the color version and commented on it and then saw this one, and I have to say that I like them both. I like this one because it has such a wonderful play of lines and angles and potentially-conflicting POVs, if you move your head this way or that way...and it has the same in color and WITH color too! I like both, and there's a wonderful starkness that I enjoy in black and white. This has that beautiful, stark quality that black and white does so well. I like this a lot.
