I'm a writer that got extremely frustrated with the complications and headaches of collaborating with an artist to make my comics, so I decided to try doing it all myself with Daz. I can't draw a thing by hand, but I do have some film training. The closest I came to art before this is doing my own lettering for the comics I write.Â
This site will only let me upload one image per day so check out my dA gallery for more of what I've been working on since I discovered Daz and Reality.Â

Too bad Lux wouldn't let us add various effects to our scenes. Like B&W or Sepia or other cool effects. Then add that to a grainy film stock and you could do it all in one whack instead of having to head into PS.

You can do B&W with Lux, there are 3 in the film responses. And they usually look better than turning a color image to B&W with photoshop.

First off Brad..It's a GREAT pic! Having said that, I agree with you that turning a pic B&W in PS isn't ' top of the bill' at all. I would suggest you go have a look on the internet for TOPAZ filters..two of them to be exact Topaz adjust ( will give give you a wide choice in films) and / or Topaz B&W. These filters will run as add ons to PS and will widen your choices considerably:)

Thanks for positive feedback and for the info on the Topaz filters. Researching them right now.
