Description

This is for Rayvns because she gifted me with "Gran's Tavern" and also the two small boats next to the dock. Not only that but she has been a great cyber friend and encourager and, when it comes to character creation, we seem to very similiar minds. I made everything within hours of receiving "Grans Tavern" but held off posting it all this time because I felt it lacked something. Guess it was waiting for the Beer boat to come! Heh! As many of you know, I recently posted a picture of a medieval grue that was carrying a lot of barrels of something. At the time, I wondered as to where their destination lay but left it open ended. Yesterday, I was going through my picture files and saw my first version of "Grans Place." Where else would the Grue Crew be going except to a tavern on a river? So there it is, coming in to the docks. There'll be an especially good time at Gran's Place tonight, so get in your boat and row right over. Thanks to all for your previous visits and comments. I especially enjoyed the responses to the shoe thing. Jeremy CREDITS: Structure: Rayvns's "Grans Tavern" (Renderosity). Includes the docks. Boats: Rayvns's "Tansy's Boat" and "Tanner's Boat" (Renderosity). River boat: illkirche's "Grue" and Medieval costumes (ShareCG). Predation's "Lorenzo Lorez" figure and "LoREZ Dog" (DAZ). Wakes and rings are by spacebones (ShareCG). Other Medieval folk are Ed Baumgarten's Lo-poly "Medman" and "MedWom" figures (Baumgarten Enterprises). Eco-system houses: "Trollhaven by Night" by Martin J. Frost from his "Distant Fantasy Towns" collection (Cornucopia3d). Trees: Gill Brooks "Forest Filler" (Renderosity) and Modulaz's "Old Wood" (RDNA).

It would be wonderful to actually live in a home like that? Just need a sky wall and a veranda within casting distance of the water. Dream on.

I'm impressed beyond words with this one Jeremy! The setting sky, water, boats, window lit town, everything, is just.... wow... I too have done renders, not posted them, then eventually revisit them, and usually find something to improve on them. Well done!
