Description

Posted an image from this view point looking east a page or two ago. Have made a 90 degree turn here and am facing south in this post. Both Crystal and the kids were amazed at the amount of snow for late June. Two thirds of the park was still closed for snow removal at that time. Been rather short on time this week and have done my best to keep up with every ones galleries. If I've let yours slip by, just give me an electronic kick in the butt! Taking the kids to the Monster truck championships tomorrow and not sure I'll get to post. Will be getting round the galleries Saturday, a great weekend to all. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2372838.jpg

My friend I usually don't like snow, but the sweetness of it in this image takes my breath away. :)))) The mountains touched with snow, and the white clouds in the ever so blue sky are so amazing together. :))))) Most excellent capture my friend. :)))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))

My God. You're not kidding. I had to hold on to the edge of the table to keep from falling in to this one. Talk about majestic and absolutely breathtaking!

Impressive view. I was there two years ago in September and there was no snow. I don't know if I'd risk driving the road around the lake in snowy weather. I had enough trouble when it was clear.

Very pretty scene. I hate to see snow, though. Winters last so long here in Michigan.

How beautiful! Just got back from a road trip to Oregon but spent so much time along the coast I wasn't able to visit Crater Lake this time. Guess that's a good reason to go back. Anyway well done on the image.

Oh my gosh what a seriously beautiful place. I wonder what a sunrise / sunset would look like here, must be mind-blowing! Lovely photo, so clean & crisp when zoomed. Nice leading lines too :)
