A friend of mine has a convertible 68 firebird that has turned into a 7 year project. A conversation last week about the car inspired me to search for a free model of a firebird and customize it to my liking..... and we're talking 30+ hours of work to fix everything, model new parts, organize materials, and create a poseable prop.

It also allowed me to use some new 3D toys from Dreamland Models and Bagginsbill.
this scene is IDL light only and rendered in about 5 min.
Turned out goergeous don't you think?
