Well Mike......I for one have NEVER been upset, hurt, or mad by your comments! I LOVE it when you tell it like you see it! Your sence of humor is who you are, and that's why I feel I have found an honest friend in you! I noticed that too many here take this TOO serious, when I say serious...I mean they take some things that are said waaaaayyyy out of context, you know what I mean? If they don't want the truth of how we feel about thier art work, they should UN-check the "negative/positive comments welcome" thingy! I look at a lot of peps art, and if I have nothing positive to say, I don't comment because of this! So as you can probably tell, I have not commented on many in a long while,Not meaning any are bad, all I have seen are really good! But I do go look. As for your image here....I really LIKE it! Nuff said.....Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and image! :D BTW.... There are some really awesome artist here, and the ones I think aren't so talented, they are not on my fav. artist list. Just sayin!

I think some people just don't know how to take you. And usually when we speak face to face you can see body language and hear the tone of the persons voice. Online you don't get any of that and I think just that makes it difficult sometimes. AND you are honest as well, people don't like the truth, esp around here. They want to be patted on the back even if their work is not worthy. Of course, I don't know who you are talking about and don't know which, if any, of the above apply. So now they have hurt your feelings. Please, whatever you do, don't stop being honest. I will never forget my girl in the tree. Your honesty pushed me to make her better. I was being lazy and you pointed out her skirt and how it really should look and your were right. And now I try harder, take my time more so I can do better. We all have room to grow. We all need a little nudge sometimes. I also enjoy your thoughts or what it reminds you of, etc. Your comments are more that a one word comment or a repeated comment that is said on all of comments posted. You are very personal with each person. I always know that you took the time to look at my work. So I want to thank you for giving me a nudge when needed, and being honest. Thank you for you great sense of humor. And for leaving more that just a one, two or three word comment. I am so sorry your feelings have been hurt. All I can say is if they don't understand you now after this, they are not worth messing with anymore. Don't stay gone long, it is Halloween time and football time, don't want to miss your funny stuff because of a few people.

Mike, your sense of humor and honesty has never offended. If someone is easily offended then maybe they should re-think about publicly displaying their art. One has to be able to take criticism (hopefully constructive) as well as praise or they'll never grow or become better.

I've enjoyed reading your comments, especially on other's art you have a very twisted mind and I like that. I fully understand what you are going through when you spend more time commenting and not enough time creating take a break from commenting and just concentrate on the art grab a camera and take photos of the area and the odd and not so odd stuff around you Love this image!

AWESOME artwork in this Mike! One of your best in a while. As to people feeling you don't like their artwork ... well, the only thing I can think of is that your comments seem to rarely have anything to do with the actual image or what you think of it. When someone sees a comment like that they MAY assume you have nothing good to say about it. Don't know for sure since I pretty much take you with a pound of salt and don't let myself be offended easily. Just a hunch. Do what you need to do as to commenting buddy. I for one would LOVE to see you post more of your artwork more often and continue to expand on your skills the above image demonstrates you very clearly have. :-)

naw... hell man, I think we all get to a point where we question ourselves. But, I doubt your friends really meant that you didn't like their work. I've been guilty of being short in my comments, I try to convey my appreciation with few words because I comment on almost every single image that I look at. And for the most part, I get that in return. I know I've been questioned about the limited words I use in my comments and some have said I don't care as well. But the truth is; if I wrote comments even as long as this one for each picture I would be on here 3 hours each morning and again in the afternoon, instead of the hour and a half I usually am each day commenting and looking. Just do what you do and hopefully everyone understands and accepts time constraints we all have to deal with.

Very cool image Mike, and I know you well enough to realize you are one of the kindest people in the gallery. Your comments are meant to be fun and lighten it up around here. Some people are very sensitive about their art and don't realize your playing with them. It's important that we are able to laugh at ourselves from time to time. Trust me there are enough jerks out there who are waiting for an excuse to attack someone for real, and they are not doing it to be funny.

After all when I factor in the "All Comments Welcome" flag I can't moan. Nah, I don't mind you saying what you think. You fire from the hip , el rapido, and that's OK with me.
