Description
Thanks again to Pedro Caparros for sharing his excellent model of the SM-79 bomber. This time a pair of aircraft operating during the Spanish Civil War.
Customised texture map slightly to create second aircraft.

I love it. You have captured well the arid landscape of the Spanish summer. Only one detail: the crews of the Spanish Civil War did not usually wear oxygen masks. Although some pilots, of the fighter Polikarpov I16, used an oxygen hose directly into the mouth. Thank you very much for the mention.

Great looking formation. So what happened to "the rain in Spain...?" cripes, and I thought Australia could get dry!

Hi Pedro, thanks for the crew info – much appreciated. A book I have has a pic of a waist gunner in an SM79 wearing an oxygen mask. However this photo was taken later in WWII Italian Air Force service. I'm afraid that made me come to the wrong conclusion. I'm very pleased that you like what I've done with your excellent model.
