Description
We got into Branson, Mo on Sept 30 th. We headed over to our favorite food store, Jubilee Foods. Actually it is the only food store we have found in town except for Wal-Mart in the 5 years we have gone to Branson. Only to find that it did not exist anymore. A tornado in Feb 2012 damaged it badly along with several motels, hotels, a theater and Shoneys restaurant. Shones and the Hilton Inn will rebuild, but the motels and theater will not. They had started tearing down the store on Sept 29th.
Enjoy! Thanks for all the previous comments, ratings and favorites.

About 20 years ago I went to Branson to ferry a Hughes 500 helicopter to San Diego. It was a company that flew tours and had one on a pedistal by the roadway. Quite intersting visiting there. I was also intrigued by the Duck or some name like that which was an amphibious vehicle/boat that carried a pretty substantial amount of people. I did not have time to visit the music houses or clubs. Which I had. I like both kinds of music. Country AND Western. Sorry to see this happen. It is a nice town.

Yes they are called ducks. They were used to ferry cargo ashore during WWII. They could go up on the shore to off load
