Description
Do you ever sit down at the computer to create something, and your Muse comes up with something so bizaare, twisted, and off-the-wall that you can't get it out of your mind?
I suppose it helps to actually have a mind..... But I digress...
I've had a bunch of Sam Therapy's outstanding Daleks hanging out in my runtimes for months. I was playing with a couple of them last night while listening to some LOTR soundtrack music on Sky.FM.... Somehow, my Muse - with her typical twisted sense of humor - combined the two. Hence the resulting bit of wackyness in front of you.
So here's a challenge for you - can you put the names of the LOTR Characters with the Daleks playing thier parts? Gandalf should be easy enough to figure out..... The first visitor who guesses them all correctly (and identifies the Dalek peering through the window) will win.......
....Something. Maybe a dinner date with one of the T.N.A. characters (probably the Gecko).
Hope you all get a giggle out of this bit of nuttiness!

That really hit my funny bone and chuckle muscles!! Totally brilliant. Now what other remakes can be done with a Dalek cast? Gone With The Wind, Maltese Falcon, or what about Simpsons Daleks!!!

Wow...this is one great wacky scene! ...I don't remember all their names, let me see I can recognize just a few of them, ...in the middle we have Frodo with Sam to his left and Pippen to his right I believe with the other next to him. Behind Frodo is Gandalf, to his left is the one who would become the king, and to his right is the warrior for Gandar, who dies in the first movie. On the far right is the dwarf, and the far left the elf!... Sorry if I miss spelled any of their names, been a long while since I've seen the movies, but I hope you get he picture.. Oh I forgot about the one in the window...I believe its the one who shows Frodo the way into Mordor.. Great little challenge, not I totally mess-up...but it was fun...Excellent render btw..

LOL!!!!!! This is awesome Rod! Funny you should suggest guessing at the characters because I looked at your image before reading your commentary and was doing that out loud for Holly. I got them all, mainly by height and the props they were holding. Then I noticed Gollum peering in the window, LOL! VERY cool and quite imaginative work buddy!

Hahahahaha! This is fabulous. I love it. I think Dan got 'em all right. Missing names are Legolas (back-2,elf), Boromir (back-1,Gandar), Gimli (front-5, dwarf), Aragorn (back-4 king) and last but not least Gollum (window). Poor Sean Bean (sigh) always gets killed, dammit! This is super cool and hilarious Rod. Your Muse was very clever!! "See it...or be exterminated, My Precious!" Ahhhh, great stuff. I think this should get a 10+!!

Oh Rod, this is great!!! Yes, Mike named them all off to me as he saw your pic. Yes, it is funny how things from different worlds somehow meld together to give us laugh worthy ideas!!! I love listening to the LOTR soundtrack too! Especially the 'Fellowship Theme'... I can't WAIT for The Hobbit to come out!!! WOOHOO!!!

I read those books in about 1973! No way I'd remember ANY of the characters at this point. (I heard they made a movie, but I'm not much of a movie person. I do remember my brother reading Bored of the Rings a few years after it came out. The line I remember him sharing was the question, "What has it got in its pocketses?" and the answer was "A snub-nose 38.") Of course the fact that I'm clueless takes nothing away from your brilliant parody! Great idea, well realized. :)

same happens to me all the time,i even walk the streets and suddenly a shitty grin comes to my face.the by-passers surely think"better leave this dude alone" lol. i do have these figures as well but would not have thought of something like this. inspiring to say the least my man. a fine fellowship.

From LEFT to RIGHT: FRONT ROW (Hobbit Daleks) Samwise Gamgee, Frodo Baggins, Perrigrin Took, Merry Bandybock. BACK ROW Legolas, Boromir, Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimili And I suspect that is Gollum way off in the shadows on the far left? You're mental... It's brilliant!

A very imaginative image with all these great characters and your lighting is perfect. I wont be winning the prize worse luck as I have no idea which bots are which character, but they still look very cute all lined up in a row and all that little bit different.

An immediate LOL! Your humor and cleverness always amazes. I think Alex is close or right. My guess is:Left to right. Front: Sam (with Sting) Frodo(with the ring) Merry and Pippin(only because that's how I always remember them being referred to in that order) Back: Legolas (Elven looking blade) Aragorn(subdued and Gandalf's right hand man), Gandalf(duh), the loud mouthed Boromir(Brandishing his sword high) and the axe wielding dwarf Gimli. And of course Smeagol is looking in the window. So that's my take. Super work!

The day comes when movie productions give you that "See It" or be exterminated in the opening credits is when I stop going to the midnight showings....lol....Really a cool creation with these assorted bots but I have no clue here so I'll just sit back observe this time around....
