Description

Hello to all! Thanks so much for taking the time to view my work. And a double thanks to all of those who comment. I greatly appreciate your feedback and support. This uses the gold texture and material set for my Temple Wear 01. The sale for Temple Wear 01 is going to end soon (the 10th), so I thought it would be good to let people know. As I described in my previous image, it's a dynamic clothing and smart prop set for fantasy scenes. It includes the altar and hanging you see in this image. The altar is actually taller and less deep than this by default, but it comes with a morphs to change the dimensions. This is probably one of my last images with my old "studio" prop. It's just a box with the normals pointed in and morphs to move the walls and ceiling. Morphs were better than moving parts in this case because I wanted to keep everything closed. I may still end up using it as an environment prop. It's really useful for completing indoor scenes. For instance, this uses Stonemason's Streets of the Mediterranean for the wall texture, Moyra's Gothiesque for The Study for the floor texture, and a molding prop I made for the visible scene, and some creative materials for the part of the scene that only contributes to ambient light and reflections. My photo studio is better in terms of providing a whole scene, but this is good for just rounding out lighting and reflections. I did some fun postwork on this one. I just touched up the hair a little, and tweaked some of the skin and joints. Where I played around most was the colors and blending. If you want to compare, the raw render is in the promo images of Temple Wear 01. Fantastic skin tones... and the jewellery, fabric and marble plinth all sing. Overall, your Temple Wear set looks very nice Kobaltkween ;-) Now Vicky doesn't have to be naked, to look good, when she's hanging out in the temple, practising her sword play...

The colours are so rich! That drape against the wall, the wall itself (enviably strong texturing)... that marble. You can just feel that cold, soft surface. And her skin: perfect. I would say that coloured skin is by a HUGE margin hard to get right: you've got it exactly right, right down to the toes and fingers. And she's a lovely girl... realistically so. Like, someone not airbrushed. Someone one would think: "hang on, isn't that???..." This is a well-done study in details that contribute to a very believable 'portrait'... like a studio shoot we happened to walk in on. very nice, indeed!

Really solid choice of color scheme here. All is in harmony and the browns and golds play perfectly off your models dark skin tones. Elegant posing. I really like how you make the most of your relatively sparten set designs. Gives your works a clean simplicity that is very eye catching.
