Spongy-fungi! It's oozing. I know some of them ooze but never saw one like that oozing liquid. But then I don't know if I've ever seen a mushroom quite like this one. That looks to be a very large oak tree behind it. Very lovely capture, Jeff - the light and shadow in this is great!!

Golden sap oozing so sweetly in the sunlite. :))))) These are large fungi. :)) When my husband and I go riding around on backroads we look for fungi bc he loves to paint beautiful scenes on them. The surface of them has to be flat though. Most excellent capture of a sweet beautiful day. :))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))
