Description

I just couldn't bring myself to leave that Jack-o-lantern alone for too long, and given my obsession with textures I ended up playing with it a bit. Apologies for posting yet another picture of the same pumpkin, but I really liked how it came out. This is the result of 7 different layers for the pumpkin, and 6 layers for the border to get the textured effects. A combination of the "Ink Outlines" filters, "Reticulation" filters, and some noise for good measure. I tend to use transparency effects alot as well, sometimes Overlay or Multiply, in order to heighten contrasts, etc. It's kind of funny how much fun I have just messing with a picture.

It's hard to resist the urge to play in Photoshop, isn't it? LOL! Especially when you have something this fun to play with.. It looks great, Mike! A really fun wallpaper for halloween!
