Description

Yesterday, I went on a school field trip to a pumpkin patch with my Grandson. During our search for the perfect pumpkin I happened to look up a was greeted by this sight. It has a surreal tone which I found to be quite attractive with the wonderfully textured sky as well as great shadows being cast on the mountains of the front range. In this view You can see Longs Peak. Named after Major Steven Long who explored the area in 1820. It is the only fourteener in the Rocky Mountain National Park. I thank You for stopping by

Beautiful. Typical Southwest sky. The lower stuff (stratocumulus) may indicate that you had a Low Pressure System move through the previous day. Am I right?
