This is a Western Race. I mmistakenly ID'd it as a stilt sandpiper the other day.

OMG this is absolutely wonderful and what is that in it's mouth looks like a turtle but really can't tell from the rear of it but once again stunning.

Oh, my, we have a carved one on the mantel like this. Waterfowl festival is a great place to pick up carved birds. Awesome image my friend.
