I thought I'd post this very colourful tree/shrub to announce my return to 'civilization' such as it is.....
it was a fun trip, even though I did not get my deer. but that is okay! there's another chance later on.
I took 240 photos while I was up there.
Basic information: 16 miles north of Carson, Washington, on Secondary Forest Road #65, about 150 meters from the 4 Corner junction of SFR #65 & SFR #60.
This photo was taken on the way up to Crest Camp (2 miles from the junction and 800 to 900 feet ABOVE it).
Whenever I went out by myself, I walked and I put a lot of miles on my new boots as well as my Wellies.
I'll tell you more in later postings
On another note, it took me almost 8 hours to get caught up with all the postings.
