Description

Just a quick one from Olmsted point in Yosemite NP. Will see about posting a panoramic from this view point and talk a bit more of the area sometime. On display in this image is the Northern side of Half Dome. On another note, I finally found the software for the scanner. Good news for even more variety into the gallery, and to continue some other series(like Mono Lake). Now if only I can find the time. ;~p To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! This is a wonderful capture of this majestic scene, Dana! Excellent framing. Ahh, the fire would explain the haziness. Hope they got it out fairly quickly!

Beautiful shot and place. All my scanners are too old to use with windows 7. I do have an all in one printer, but the quality is not there. Now I shoot digital mostly anyway. When I used film, I really liked the Epson scanners.
