Hello. My name is Kevin and I am from the state of Michigan in the U.S. and was born December 16, 1965. I work in a small metal parts factory in Shelby, Michigan. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, thunderstorms, photographing landscapes and nature and creating digital art. I use software such as Terragen, Bryce, Carrara, DAZ Studio, Painter, Photoshop, and Poser.
I first got into photography at the age of 12 years old and now I shoot in both 35 mm and medium format 6x6. My favorite films are Fujichrome Velvia and Kodak HIE Infrared film. Now I am getting into digital photography and own a Canon Digital Rebel.
I also enjoy listening to music and enjoy progressive rock to heavy metal ( particularly symphonic heavy metal). I am inspired by the music of many bands such as Asia, Hawkwind, The Moody Blues, all the way to bands like Arcturus, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Nightwish, and Tidfall. Music influences my work.
I enjoy viewing other artists work here on Renderosity and am inspired by most of them.

I think your pov might serve better as a closer view. Less 'flat' terrain. Still a great piece. ")

Nice render Kevin. I like the sky very much. This would be a nice entry for the TTC "Dark skies".

VERY cool I like...and expect some tough super durable creature to pop out from behind a huge rock at any given moment LOL Have you read the book Ants by John Steakly? They have uninhabitable planets like this, well this reminded me of that I should say lol
