Description
In the comments on the pic before this one there were expressed wishes for a 'snarl' ..I leave it up to your to imagination to decide on
how much she snarls..or how fast she will leap from the edge of your dream to the heart pounding middle.....
Photo with a tad of post work in Photoshop. ah well...
Let me share with you...
You know how it is when you look at all those professional filters and what they cost....You are soooo not going to put down that kind of dosh..and the good news is.. you don't have to...
The simple truth is that real pro's don't even use that many filters..like a master carpenter won't buy a table at Ikea. Sure, everybody has some basic set to cut a few corners but they will always avoid having pre made filters cut into their flow of inspiration and creativity. The trick is to find those bits and bobs of flotsam that will turn into gold when you apply them..just like the carpenter turning his woodshed upside down for that one piece of wood.
In the picture above you will see that wonderful scratchy texture and that came from applying an old totally destroyed daguerrotype glass plate. This type of photo, when not stored or handled correctly would just turn into nothing but a blotchy scratched plate... of no use to museums.. so they were stored deep into the archives of collections and are sometimes hard to get, ( especially in HIGH resolution).
To help you out..if you are willing to give it a try... copy the following link into your browser:
http://www.unsigneddesign.com/film/
It is a downloadable list of 11 high resolution glass plates and 11 smaller ones of the same. The high rez ones are so big you will probably only use part of a plate. So 11 plates you can use in part will set you up for some time to come:) and FREE.
You load your photo and add the glass plate as an extra layer and start fiddlin' :) Happy 'shopping'!
PS
Let me add that those unused frames of your old photo negatives when scanned in a high rez (1200dpi) will do the trick too.

Cool photo. I like how one pupil is way more dilated than the other. Great light.

She is Lamia - a creepy crawly demon snake woman stealer of children from ancient days part vampire often confused with Medusa. Closed doors will not stop her, she is a good reason not to live near swamps.
