"Play Misty for me" - Who can forget Jessica Walter's character stalking DJ Dave with that song request? Our lovely but lonely and deranged Nyxia is already hearing it in her head as she waits by the dark woods. Her outfit is Nightborne by WildDesigns and Silver, with one of the *gorgeous* Noctic texture addons by P3DArt. Thank you so much, Peggy, for these *fantastic* textures!!!
I used a b&w filter on the background and a pastel photoshop style on the light, but the character and her outfit has no postwork at all. What you see is the actual colors and tones - I absolutely love the mix and match to these Noctia textures!
Computer update: The computer is really, really unstable and I'm trying to migrate what I can to an external hard drive. Had to get a new one as my Iomega has nowhere near the capacity of all my, to use a technical term, 'stuff'. So I went and got a Seagate Backup Plus 2T. Windows wouldn't recognize it, said it 'malfunctioned'. Okay, so I had to return that one and got a WD Passport 2T. Transfer to it is no problem, but when the computer won't connect to the internet (now it almost always won't) for whatever reason and I then boot in safe mode, Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro won't load *at all* and I keep getting license error messages. I'm pulling my hair out and nearing throw the towel in stage. So once again, please bear with me as I try to wrestle with this incredibly ridiculous computer.

Time for a new computer! Glad you got the WD HD. I have had no luck with Seagate. I have found Western Digital hard drives to be very reliable. Wonderful render, Linda. I really like the "almost" black and white quality to this. Incredibly good.

Fab work!! I use a dock that allows any regular Sata hard drive to be inserted. 2.5 or 3.5. LOVE IT! They are sold out at hte moment, but they restock quickly. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=ADA-3601-PB

Sounds to me like your Windows is hosed pretty badly.... A format-reload might take care of most of the issues, but you might be better off with a new machine - the biggest, baddest you can afford... And save the old HD. Chances are you can recover most of your 'stuff' when you get the new one. Those HD docks like Angel mentioned are lifesavers for backing up all your digital 3D goodies. And your render here is gorgeous, by the way! Love the depth of this, Linda!
