The world’s mythologies are a treasure trove of secrets woven out of the events of the past, passed down and altered over time. Names change. Genders change. Their stories are quite human. The things that happen to them are human-like…they simply take place in different realms. They are the tales that were told around campfires, on holy-days and in ancient texts. I like to capture some of their spirit in my art, if I can.
SRG or Sidhe Rose Graphics brings you beings from the realm of fantasy: faerie-folk, warriors of old, vampires, werewolves and other shape-shifters, angels, demons, witches, and mages both dark and light. We specialize in them! Of course, they can appear as perfectly normal everyday people, if you like. It's up to you. They will be coming soon to the Renderosity Market Place, so stay tuned!

Enjoy! And thank you for taking the time to look.

I understand about having an itch you can't scratch, but if I had an inkling of your ability...... ;~)

Hmmm... this is a new one to me. I've never had a problem like this with a morph. I'd just either blur or smudge the area and then clone the texture back over it with a soft round brush. I know that doesn't solve the problem, but it does hide it pretty well. good luck figuring this out, sorry I couldn't help more. He's still a pretty good looking guy!

Very good work I wish I could help you but I play with DAZ and not Poser short of postworking it, I've no other ideas

Problem is, I can't sell him like that :(

Another very beautiful and attractive character here, marvelous gaze!

OMG--the first thing I noticed was the hair--raven dark and luscious framing his features perfectly! The character is beautiful--hope you do get the kinks worked out-this is in Poser right? Do you ever use DAZ (or would you think of using DAZ?)
ZanderXL
Sorry Ray, if the problem is texture based then I have zero idea as I've never done any. He does still look cool, though. Hope you get it figured out. Is he your next item or are you still working on Cherry?

Delightfully Wonderful Image,

Rendering is way past me but for a man of the forest he makes a good job of keeping his hair washed! Super image Ray.
Leije
Wonderful light/shadow game on his face, excellent work, Rayvn !
Zathyn
Very nice! :^)

Cool render! Great immersion in the scene!

I can barely see what you're describing, Ray, but I know how you feel about not being able to sell him with the issue =( and I'm also a DAZ Studio user, so not sure if I'd be able to help, but if I come across any info on the web I will site mail you with the URL(s). He looks great, love his skin texture and the shadows on him in this scene look fabulous~ Again, more top notch work from you =) Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday (I read your site mail & replied before I looked at comments for 'Scorpio'...DUH!) and many, many more!

you do superb portraits my friend.

I can't see the ripple. I don't think it's real noticable.

I don't know how you do your morphs, but I would try re-doing the body morph. Start out with un-morphed Michael and then morph him the same way to see if it happens again. Doesn't sound like it could possibly be a texture problem to me. Just a thought, you know. Good luck. PS ... I can't see the ripple either.

Not a Poser user just a art viewer...I fail to notice your dilemma if that's any help....Not something that "JUMPS" out at you by any means...The eye's are what grabbed my attention as a focal point....in a good way not a distraction way....(smiles)...

I must admit,it's a great guy,no doubt. But I read,he has a problem.I know you want it to be done in your 3D program.I would open the render in Photoshop and fix it with those tools and ready you are:) I cann't help you with this, sorry. Gr.Rudy.

Nice portrait!
Savage_dragon
You think its in the texture... or the morph? Looks good from my pov.

It is super cool. I thank you for it. 5+!

Awesome portrait!!

It sounds as if only the surgeon can help ... But a truly pithy type. He strikes me as very attractive, with its bedroom look ... Very well done, and the shadows that fall on his face. Very nicely done!

I don't know how to help Ray, i never make a morph. But i like the way he looks right now.....great work on this portrait my friend.

poser can be frustrating sometimes. just some morphs do not handle well. he looks outstanding however and very dominant

Well it took me forever to see what you're describing, Ray - he looks that good... I think I see it, but the overall work just looks so good, I'd never have noticed if you hadn't described exactly where to look. Not that I'm any kind of 'expert' (far from it), but it would appear to be a problem with the mesh to me.. Someone suggested starting with a clean M4 and re-doing the morphs - that would be the only thing I can come up with. You might run it by the Poser Forum - there's a lot of expertise there. Anyway, Clay looks really good, frustrating glitches or no!

Excellent Render, Great Composition, Light, Pose, Expression and Setting!

I have had a similar problem with a character from I think GypseyAngel. Cannot be certain on that but what you describe is just what I had. I am sure it is a problem with the neck morphs from the body not the head. Sorry, the only way I resolved it was by injecting another body morph into th model which does not help your situatio. I agree with ZigZag. Take a scientific method and do it one step either backward or forward at a time. Change nothing but one neck tweak, and one % at a time. You will probably kill me for saying that because you already did that 20 times over.
