Been looking at alot of pelicans as we spent a week at the beach I thought it was just myself and friend nicole from canada were going to take her to spend a week: However: I had a big surprise for my 75th BD all my family from Montreal arrived at our timeshare in Oceanside the family and hubby have been working on this surprise since Jan lol All except my friend hae gone back but it something I will never 'ever forget" just getting u up-to-date why I have not answered my ebots: Nice shot richard:

Flocks of pelicans traveling in a line will parallel the speeding traffic on the Causeway between the mainland and Galveston Island. it is a fabulous sight, difficult to photograph since the speed limit is something near the speed of sound in that area (LOL) and cars surround you and don't care if they mow down the birds as long as they get home before dinner time. This s a wonderful sight and well done. Not easy to get clear shots of flying birds.

A ferry at Padre Island???? We have lots of these wonderful birds here at our community. Hard to capture in flight, nice job.
