Very nicely done!!

Well, that's quite different for you and very nice! I think it would also look good if you cropped the top detail out and went for higher contrast to just make it black and white without other detail showing. It is the kind of shot that you can do many things with.

These trees make a great silhouette against the sea and sky. A lovely capture.

I have to stop with this image, unfortunately, as I've been here for over 90 minutes and I have to go now. I hope to get back here again soon, as I love your work. Well, from your most recent image, I flew all the way back to 2012 to comment on this, lol (in an effort to catch up with your older work, piece by piece). I love this shot. It reminds me of my own Lake Michigan right after a storm---where the Midwestern sky gets this peach-hued, late-day look; and the trees are all silhouetted against the sky. Beautiful concept, because the trees---which are quite thick and dark---start (on the ground) by swaying to the right; and those angles give this image the feeling that a big wind came by and blew the trees over....The light is most intense at the top, too, which heightens the black silhouettes. And I like the meeting of branches and leaves at the top, too. Powerful and stark, and very rich too. A fine place to stop. It's always a pleasure to come here, and I have lots more to catch up on, and I hope to do it again soon. Hope all is well where you are, and that the spring is beginning to show itself. (Where I live, it's still minus 15.5C in the morning. Don't live in Chicago, if you have a choice!) Beautiful work as always!
