Oh that is weird! Usually you see them growing crooked when they can't reach the sun because of bigger trees. This little guy started growing crooked right out of the ground practically. Cool find, buddy!

That's a really fascinating shot, I love the resilience of the sapling that refuses to be stopped. It'll be interesting to see that tree in another 25 years, too!
