My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Indeed yes. And afterwards you can eat it........a feast for both the eye and the stomach.

A superb shot Tara, lovely to see the 'naughty' bits up close!
ZanderXL
What a tremendous close up! It looks like an inferno. I think this would look great as a large wall piece. Evokes a sense of passion. ... Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it :)

Striking closeup. There is a lot going on in there. Does look like flames at the bottom and a spider at the top.

OH yes it is a fantastic flower and I love it. I just doubt we can have it in our garden because of the deers. We have a silly name for these, because of the leaves. Something like a plate-smasher LOL!

They are amazing, especially those little upright "flames" in their hearts. Excellent capture, these are hard to shoot in my experience. Beautiful!

Splendid image! :)

Stellar bright red hat colors in this closeup. Nasturtium....sounds more obscene than it looks.
npauling
A wonderful fiery capture of this beautiful Nasturtium. This would look great on a wall.

I tried to say that name 3 times, and bit my tounge..... :-P Sure is lovely, though - a great macro, Tara! It's edible, but almost too lovely to eat...
