Started as a study for different surface structures in Vue and extruding objects in trueSpace (the Riedel glass), then developed into an indoor-lighting exercise because I had taken ill and needed the training anyway. ;) Then I decided this is going to be the second picture in my redmetalball series, so there you are. Render time: 3:20 Vue 4.1, postwork with Photoshop Elements. The fantastic chair is courtesy of RCAD (http://www.interalpha.co.uk/rcadmm , found on 3dcafe.com), frames are Vue object, rest was built from scratch.
