Looks like a variety called "penny bun" which are perfectly edible, although you'd definitely want to get a second opinion of what type it is lol. Great capture here!

I guessed straight away that you had been lying close to Nature again!!! You are going to have to take more water with your Schnapps Juliette...hahahaha.. It's a brilliant capture and what a delicious looking monster:-) Hope you aren't suffering too much.

What a great POV for this shot; the texture of the mushroom reminds me of bread. Beautifully captured!

A super capture of this rugged looking shroom, and I was thrilled to be able to have a look at your latest gallery of captures. I can see how you are suffering today from lying on the ground to get these fabulous captures but what a marvellous place. I hope you don't catch a cold as it looks as if the ground would have been quite damp from the fog. I love the music you set your collections to as well. Thank you so much for sharing your excursion I really enjoyed it too.

I like this composition very much. It has a very unusual angle, you are not going to get many mushrooms from below like this, you took real advantage of the settings. And then you did marvelous job of playing with focus and DoF to really make it pop. The spore bodies are gorgeous. The mosses by the way are Polytrichum and in summer produce beautiful hairy caps on the spore capsules. They are a very ancient group of mosses, closely related to vascular plants in fact.
