Description

This is how it works.. You have a program called Daz and there is this Poser Daz has a superior figure.. called Victoria. It is a beauty.. esp. in version 4 but it can be used in Poser too in order to win the competition you develop a Genesis It can only be used in your program and you hope all will join Daz program sadly Daz program itself is a nasty little thing so not all poser users switch.. in fact many leave Daz behind so what do u do. you let the Poser users taste a bit of Genesis just a little bit by creating a sub program called DSON... It hardly works with Poser.. but it gives the Poser people the feeling of what Genesis could do and you hope we will hop over to Daz.. but not me The whole idea is that all money spent at daz3d.com can be spent again if you create a new figure that is just a bit different.. that is not the way to do it.. Poser does it friendlier.. it creates new programs in which the old can still be used

LOL, Using an older version of Poser I was not eligible for the DSON program. Hence no Genesis for me. Sorry to here it is a problem. I know I got a bot mail from Daz that there is a update for DSON and it is in my account. Yes I was dumb enough to download it when it was free, then realized I could not use it. Since I will likely never be able to afford a newer version of Poser I guess I never will. I did download the free DAZ studio, But never installed due to the hassle of reinstalling all my 20 DVD's and some Blu-rey disks of stuff. Besides I do not think there is enough room on the hard drive. I may install it on my gaming computer someday. I am assuming Genesis come with it. I would be using even an older version of Poser had I not won the one I have in a contest at Smith Micro. Sorry to here of all you trouble. I like the scene you rendered. I too am a poser user, never really liked Daz studio, but their figures are the best. I haven't downloaded DSON yet...don't know if I will ever, I myself prefer Poser...

I like your scene, Good Light and POV. Excellent Work! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ IN MY OPINION, DAZ (whatever version), Genesis, and DSON IS CRAP. The latter, Patched/Replaced only 5 days after initial release. Poser's not perfect, we all know that, but be careful installing sloppily made plugins to it, or you may have to reinstall everthing. Nope not me, I'll stick with Poser and V4.2++. I can get what I want from this character. Daz content is generally good, as is V4,A4,G4,S4 etc. I feel Daz was cocky, thinking they could take on Poser. LOL

I HAD to join in here... frankly I never saw the "Genesis" character as being anything special, so I have just sat back and watched....and I have to TOTALLY AGREE! Why would I want to add stress to my life and bank account?? I have PLENTY of inventory to use for my V4 in my Poser right now, and yes I still by her new clothes here...I am just now learning more about how to use Poser to get even better results! (Been a Poser user since it's beginning) I am just on 7 now) and loving it! With so many morphs, improvements ALREADY MADE for V4 by talented people, she is so versatile, why on earth would I want to "start over" with a whole new figure?? In this economy? I am NOT a "lemming" and proud of it! The grass is NOT always greener.... ! I am not quite sure what the lady in the bus has got to do with it, maybe I am dense...but it is a great image! :)

@ Lyme.. Lady i the Bus is a Genesis.. Can only make her for one image. She can not be saved in Poser.. so what ever you make of her with clothes and morphs.. she is only for one time.. so she is leaving :D
