Outstanding. You seem to understand the need for dirt, in realism. We must make dirty pictures and that's what 3D lacks. Here's the thing, is it possible to get more variation by combining two fractals (or types) in the same image? Some of the programs can do this and it's worth looking into.

Thanks Shaun5, I'm not sure if Mandelbulb can do this, It is easy enough to overlay textures using layers in photoshop in say, soft light mode, something I have done in the past. Thanks for the comment.

That's cool, awesome structure, would love to see those Params or at least know what Formulas were used. In MB3D the Combining of Fractal Formulas is what Alternating Hybrids are all about, combining several different Fractal types or Formulas to make a sinle image or in the case of DE Combinates the combining of a Complete Alternating Hybrid with another Formula or d.IFS Shape.
