Description

the cool thing about preserves like Gifford Pinchott is the hidden wonders. \ You can find them if you divorce your mind from the city trappings and allow nature to take over. You have to listen to your heart and soul as well as your ears to spot the wonders that abound within the woods. I wish you all a wonderful and fun weekend Mike

Lovely shot, up here in Michigan it's all becoming brown and wet as fall wanes. I envy you still having green! I totally agree with you about making your mind split from the modern to really find gems like this one. Another photo-addict I know used to tell me "Think like you're a small forest critter". That always made me smile. Nice photo!

I know what you're saying, Bro - I experienced the same thing when we were on the trails at Mt. Magazine and Petit Jean State Park.... Just soooooooo relaxing! Great shot, Mike!

All those fallen trees, look like little bridges over the stream to somewhere - if you are a Dwarf or an Elf, lovely Mike, BB

You could have gotten wet if you were not watching where you were going in those woods!

Hmmm... is that my namesake hiding behind the leaves to the right? This looks like an exciting place to explore and play hide-and-seek in. Beautiful shades of green! Now to go hide!
