Description
Bracing myself for the storm of the century, or so say the talking heads. Everyone is panic buying, food is flying off the shelves and the key words around these New England towns is "Hunker Down".
Strange, last year at this same time we had a tremendous storm which knocked out power for several days. They canceled Halloween, this year they fear they might have to postpone the elections, same difference, as I see it. There are rumors about that the storm is man made- it is the questioned "October Surprise". At any rate I think it might be a bit dicey around here for awhile. Good thing I can swim, because the river is only 50 feet from my door. Probably see you all next spring, if I am lucky. Enjoy!

Splendid Apo work, yeah that Storm is all over the News. Postpone the election, nah, it's already been bought and paid for I think. Ever heard of the H.A.A.R.P. project based on Tesla's early experiments with controling weather among other things like Earthquakes and Volcano's, not out of the Realm of Possibility. Anyway, Batten down the Hatches and ride it out as smoothly as you can my friend. Peace

Whoa! James! What a fantastic storm you've created! I hope it isn't an omen, or a predictor what's just around the corner .. I love the name the media have given it, Frankenstorm .. grins! I have yet to go shopping or to stock up, I suppose I should make sure my car's tank is full. From what I'm seeing, we are to get high winds and rain, rain, rain. We're already getting rain from the low front that's dropped down from Canada, and we're to get more from with the storm coming from he south. Geez. Hope you do well, and don't lose power, at least not for long. Being close to the river has it's advantages, but there are times when it's a worry, too.
