Description
Die Wanderjahre beziehen sich auf die Wanderschaft von Zimmermannsleuten/Gesellen. Die Gesellen sind 2-3 jahre unterwegs und sollen vor allem neue Arbeitspraktiken, Lebenserfahrung und fremde Orte, Regionen und Länder kennenlernen. Auf die Wanderschaft darf heute nur gehen, wer die Gesellenprüfung bestanden hat, ledig, kinderlos und schuldenfrei
ist. Die Wanderschaft soll nicht als „Flucht“ vor Verantwortung missbraucht werden.
Er darf kein eigenes Fahrzeug besitzen und bewegt sich nur zu Fuß oder per Anhalter fort. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind nicht verboten, aber verpönt.
Weiterhin muss er in der Öffentlichkeit immer seine outfit tragen. Da ein Fremder oftmals auf die Unterstützung der Bevölkerung angewiesen ist (zum Beispiel bei der Suche nach Arbeit oder einem Schlafplatz), hat er sich immer ehrbar und zünftig zu verhalten, so dass der Nächste ebenfalls gern gesehen ist. Eine gepflegte Erscheinung erleichtert die Kontaktaufnahme und das Trampen.
Einen Gesellen auf Wanderschaft sieht man heute sehr selten (zumindest in Berlin). Ich habe mir diese Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lassen. Als Gegenleistung für dieses Bild, bat er mich, einige Telefonate mit meinem Handy machen zu dürfen. (Ich hatte eine hohe Rechnung danach...*LOL*)

Auf der Walz, so kenne ich das. Hatte schön einige Male das Glück solchen Menschen zu begegnen. Ich finde super, dass es das gibt. Du hast das Ganze großartig fotografiert!!!

Auf der Walz sein, eine Tradition, die es seit Jahrhunderten gibt. Hier in der Gegend sieht man die Zimmermannsgesellen leider auch nur noch sehr selten. Klasse Foto und sehr nett, daß Du ihm dein Handy gegeben hast.

That is such an interesting concept. Of course, I have heard of the term, but I have never actually seen an actual Journeyman before.

I am sure it pays off with such a position to be a handsome young rouge such as himself. He will then find it easier to gain sympathy from lovely ladies who will grant him gifts of fortune :-) A classic image with many points of composition, strong contrast, rule of thirds and leading line.
