Oh, that looks like what we here in New England call a flicker. We get to see them from time to time...LOVE catching a glance of these pretty birds. Great capture!!!

It's hard to get a picture of a wood-pecker, it seems. You can hear them but can't always find them and if you do they fly away. Nice shot of this little guy :)
