Description
Once or twice a year an image from this gallery will be found in LWITG. First, I am always honored by an image being chosen, thank you. Secondly, as I peruse this weekly event and look at the amount of time and work taken to produce this additional gallery each and every week. It leaves me feeling grateful as well to be here. As a token of gratitude, I would like to give thanks to all that contribute in this grand gallery's production, and all it's wonderful work!
Last image in this series, "Sandstone Sunday", is what made LWITG(link below). That stitched image focused on the formation that is now partially the center of this image. We are now on another ascent up the outside of the amphitheater. Some nice thin fins in the foreground, and the tepees in the background are from the image, "The buttes stop here!". Will add a link for that too, sorry only know how to add link with the JPEG. Have not worked out text only link.
This LWITG was nice also for both Dad and I made the same week. :~) For more recent posts, please visit the gallery.
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!

Indeed a wonderful capture, with such a bright view and wonderful details on it. It's great it was chosen for the LWITG, and you deserve it, Dana!!!

Congratulations, it is also wonderful just to see a friend be selected for Gallery of the Week or anything similar. I always admire the images you have captured and shared with us. Aside from having good quality, you have an eye to capture just the perfect angle of the landscape or scene. Might be a gift that you and your dad share together.
