Description

Since I downloaded Bryce 7.5 Pro and DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro I thought it was time I gave them a proper go. The Daleks (models I cobbled together and a friend Poserised them for me) were posed in DAZ Studio and then moved across to Bryce, where they were textured. The cave was made up from terrains with a texture map also used as a bumnp-map. Two cone-shaped spot-lights were used and set to give soft shadows while a dark grey area light added some basic overall light to the scene. Why Daleks? They don't take as long to pose or dress as a V4 figure, lol. I think the soft shadows setting probably doubled the render time, but the results are quite nice. Next... people! Thanks for looking... I know Daleks aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I like them ^_^ Iain

I love Daleks too being a long time fan and i've just posted an image of these myself. Excellent render Iain and works really well with the shadows on the wall of the cave. More of these please!
