Description

Hunawihr (La France/ Alsace) has an unusual church. It is both a church as well as a (light-weight) fortress. As always in the Alsace the vineyards are dominating the scene.

Never saw such an example of a double-duty church before. I've seen the old steeples that doubled as watch towers and as last-ditch fortress in the UK.
