Description
Well the storm of near Biblical proportions managed to miss us for the most part. Here, in the center of Massachusetts, there is a happy valley, the Blackstone. We're surrounded by high elevation and that managed to have us dodge the bullet. Minor tree damage, not much flooding, the river never was a threat. This morning I drove through town and if it wasn't for all the leaves, no one would have thought anything happened. Now I know why the valley is the sacred land for the Hasanimisco tribes. These native Americans still occupy tribal territory in the region. Seeing what happened in other areas we are most lucky.
Relaxed, and worked on a fractal flame, hope you enjoy it!

This certainly looks similar to the lovely tapestries that were hanging in the castles I visited in England. Glad to hear the storm treated you kindly. Haven't heard from friends in CN yet but friends in NC Smoky Mountains have a foot of snow with drifts over three feet. The scope and kinds of weather this storm has produced is really amazing.

So glad you also dodged the bullet .. we did too. The storm apparently zigged when it was supposed to zag .. so again, we dodged the worst. The tapestry is beautiful one, a kind of warm, sheltering, warming image filled with splendor. And yet the swirls and convolutions and the blue colors seem to reflect the storm ... gorgeous work.
