This poem is a little more "traditional". I don't know how I feel about this one. It's not really my normal style of writing. I felt it was necessary to change styles to reflect what I was trying to say. I like the irony of this piece; a poem about the insignificance of words. This concept is why I love to write--constantly finding different and more effective ways of illustrating thoughts and emotions through the limitations of language. The picture is the Japanese kanji for love. I think that adds another not-so-subtle touch of irony to the work. It's 6am. This is the product of a caffiene-induced stupor.
