Description

LOL Maybe someday I'll win something. LOL It would have helped had they let me add my story to go along with the render, it makes no sense without it...so here's the story. She was orphaned as a young infant. None of her family had the resources to take her in, so she was placed in an orphanage. There she was provided with the basics of life. Shelter, food, and clothing. It was overcrowded and under funded, there was barely enough to eat and the clothing was old and tattered. For the people that ran the orphanage, it was just a job. Never was a kind word spoken to the children, never were they hugged or comforted. The word "love" meant nothing to her, she didn't ever remember feeling it towards another or having it given to her. She had heard older children that had just came in to the home speak of how much they had loved their parents...but she didn't understand. Her room was on the second floor. She had fallen behind the other children leaving the room while trying to tie her shoe. She was only four, it was the job of an older girl to tie her shoes every morning because she didn't know how yet. She finally gave up and decided to find the older girl, everyone was at "outside playtime". She started down the steps to go outside with the rest, on about the fourth one down, she accidentally stepped on her untied shoelace. She remembered starting to fall and thinking it was going to hurt. But it didn't hurt, as a matter of fact, she didn't fall. She flew upwards, up to the ceiling, like a butterfly! Then she looked down and saw the people that ran the orphanage around...around...her body! She kind of had a concept of what death was, at four, it was tough to understand. But she had heard a lot about it since she grew up where only children came if their parents died. Confused and not sure what to do, she stayed with her body. They dressed her in the oldest, most tattered and worn out nightgown, one that should have been thrown away long ago. That is what she was buried in, not a pretty little dress fitting of a beautiful little girl. When her body was placed in a casket, she knew for sure that she had died. She had been to the funeral of a little boy that had lived at the orphanage, he was very sick when he got there and the doctors couldn't fix him. Now she stays here in the cemetery. Sometimes she holds a teddy bear that was left at the grave of a little girl that was loved in her lifetime. She's always very careful with it and puts it back just as it was when she's done, it helps to ease the loneliness when she hugs it tight. One time a bright light came for her and in that light were her parents, she didn't remember them, but somehow she knew them. She also felt this "warmness", this thing they called "love". She didn't know what it was, and she couldn't trust it to be something real. She never knew love or trust, so she stayed in the cemetery, alone. All the other souls had moved on, into the light. So here she stays, all alone, unhappily ever after. Old Cemetery by Aako at DAZ. Lisa's Botanicals - Dead Bushes at DAZ. Thursdays Child - Deaddy Bear by Traveler at RDNA.
