Description
I love this kind of bird [Myiosetetes similis (Social Flycatcher)] are curious and happy. We call them Chíos and do fun things (for them) For example, eat all my Chiltepes chilies, which I use to season my soups and sandwiches. I do not understand how they do not suffer from gastritis, if I eat the equivalent amount of chiles, I would have perforated my stomach or at least with an ulcer.
Another example: This little guy is resting on the edge of a razor wire. How can he do that without losing fingers?. Amazing

Lovely bird & photo. Very cute creature. Birds aren't affected by chilli heat at all, but they are affected by mustard. Just an odd fact that I know :)

I don't know if we have these in Chicago or not, but the species looks vaguely familiar. I always thought they were just fancy sparrows. I love the POV on this; it's so familiar. Great clarity as well and this is quite a lovely little bird with an exceptionally strong stomach, it seems.
