Description

Made in Blender . My first effort at texture painting, so don't be too harsh - The SCM was made later. If I ever get time I'll redo the tex and finish the Container port. The ship has braking thrusters visible although normally they would be hidden: here's a thought: who else puts braking thrusters on their spaceship huh? It's not like there's anything out there to slow them down otherwise!

The first thing I thought when I saw the image was "nice texturing!" and then I read your caption. Seriously good stuff!

Nice work, I agree that the texturing works really well.

Very good job. I think this is a very practical design for a spaceship and I can easily imagine such things being used to say, transport Helium III from the moon to earth.

Hoho! Turin, I could guess that you have been looking at my blog! (The Empty Header at blogspot) Yes, Iron Sky is great fun. Not sure there really is that much Helium III there though. Actually, (Nonsolum!) what is in the containers is a sticky problem for me: consider the logistics of it: what is worth transporting between star systems or planets? Those are big containers too folks: about twice the height of our current ones. Billets of raw technecium? Boron fibre cloth? That top-secret spice from Arrakis that is supposed to make you live for centuries? intelligent biocompound artificial skin? All suggestions gladly accepted!

Probably a load of rubber ducks and frogs to trade for priceless Snadrax Crystals, the Snadrax are a very primitive race and easily pleased. Another excellent model, the texture looks fine, though a run in with an asteroid field would give it 'character'....The Atlantic Causeway docks regularly in Liverpool, so I can relate to this Big Boy....10/10
