Description

Shot at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in Jersey, Channel Islands. Nikon D5100 & Tamron 70-300mm Handheld. First submission in years - I used to post a long time ago! My old account got closed down so I thought I'd start afresh... Who knows, I may find people I recognise on here?? Constructive critiques much appreciated! Thanks all.

Looks like he's about to get you! Great capture - your ISO does seem a little too high causing the graininess in the background, but this will have depended on the conditions that you were shooting under. You could've used a layer mask in PS and gone for the reduce noise filter - masking out the head of the snake that you wanted to keep sharp. Excellent pic non-the-less!
