Like "The cemetery guardian" pumpkin. This one had a design on both sides to cast a shadow image. For the Guardian it was a cloud covered moon. This one has a web and spider. Originally this pumpkin was slated for a witch design Crystal wanted to do, but it was not tall enough. Funny that she chose the spider and web design, as she has arachnophobia. :~) When Crystal started, she began on the outside of the web. This added an extra measure of difficulty. It should have been worked on from the center outwards, so the pumpkin stayed structurally sound as the pieces got cut out. As I was explaining the concept, Crystal handed the pumpkin over to me for completion...lol!
