Description
Not all prisons have walls, not all scars are visible, not all pain is physical and not all things heal in time so easily.
Some things we go through in life are too terrible and too horrific to imagine and are never completely forgotten.
They are buried in a dark place and forgotten but given the right smell, taste, sound or touch even they return to the surface from the depths of our subconscious mind.
And for a brief time stir up old fears, doubts and anxieties and then slowly drift back down into the darker depths of our mind to lay dormant again for awhile.
although we can never escape from our self made prisons we can forgive our selves and let the pain lesson over time and learn to live for the future and not dwell in the past.
