The Montreal Convention Center is a conference center and exhibition located at the north end of Old Montreal in the borough of Ville-Marie in Montreal. It is one of the main points of interest in the Quartier International of Montreal. Since 2007, the Palais was named one of "1001 wonders of architecture that you must have seen in his life" Mark Irving and François Barré. It is located at 159 Saint-Antoine Street West. The Palais des Congrès of Montreal, live art and architecture in perfect harmony. Genuine signature of the Palace since its expansion in 2002, the great facade glass coverslips colorful displays current color choices and bold. Mario Saia and his team of architects wanted to represent the highest level of creativity Quebecers favoring instead works of art in the construction of the building. Landscaping Palace not go unnoticed not with, among others, the Nature garden light / Lipstick Forest trees represented by roses, a concept designed by architect Claude Cormier was inspired by the avenue of trees Montreal park. Over the past 26 years, the Palace has hosted over 13 million visitors and delegates, and every day there are more than 6000 loops, and workers circulating in Congress colorful alleys and enjoy the shops and restaurants Galeries du Palais. ______________________________ Le Palais des congrès de Montréal est un centre de conférences et d'expositions situé à l'extrémité nord du Vieux-Montréal, dans l'arrondissement Ville-Marie de Montréal. Il est un des principaux points d'intérêt du Quartier international de Montréal. Depuis 2007, le Palais des congrès figure au palmarès des « 1001 merveilles de l’architecture qu’il faut avoir vues dans sa vie » de Mark Irving et François Barré. Il est situé au 159, rue Saint-Antoine Ouest. Au Palais des congrès de Montréal, l’art et l’architecture vivent en parfaite symbiose. Véritable signature du Palais depuis son agrandissement en 2002, la grande façade en lamelles de verre coloré affiche un choix de couleurs actuel et audacieux. Mario Saia et son équipe d’architectes ont voulu représenter le haut niveau de créativité des Québécois en privilégiant la place des œuvres d’art dans la réalisation du bâtiment. Les aménagements paysagers du Palais ne passent pas non plus inaperçus avec, entre autres, le jardin Nature légère/Lipstick Forest représenté par des arbres roses, un concept imaginé par l’architecte Claude Cormier qui s’est inspiré des arbres de l’avenue du Parc de Montréal. Au cours des 26 dernières années, le Palais a accueilli plus de 13 millions de visiteurs et de congressistes, et chaque jour ce sont plus de 6 000 passants, travailleurs et congressistes qui circulent dans ses allées hautes en couleurs, et profitent des commerces et restaurants des Galeries du Palais.

A very beautiful building but diminished somewhat by having only the Provincial flag of Québec flying. I am aware that there is a Canadian flag at street level (not shown in your photo) but that too is incorrectly placed. Nice shot though Magik, and nothing personal!
