Description
We were never what you would call Hippies. We didn't farm. We had indoor plumbing. What we were was decidedly Counter Culture. Anti war, anti corporate, anti pasto. Everything was organic back then, the movement, the food, the women. The women we met were pretty without makeup. That's because they didn't wear any makeup. They were the Wysiwyg girls. What you saw is what you got. This was Barbara. One hundred percent organic with no artificial ingredients.

I'm certain I should have got along well with her. I will dig out a pic of me looking oh so similar! I still don't wear any makeup, and in the words of a well known song of the time, if people don't like me they can leave me alone. I love the rich tones in this shot.
