this is only one of the 4 × Westinghouse geared steam turbines 4 × shafts 150,000 shp she celebrated her 200,000th arrested landing on 17 October 1967 Tokyo made claim that they had sunk her but she was in port for some minor repairs after a kamikaze hit

i know that engine room all to well, one i was on was a steam powered vessel!, even the d.c. generators were steam powered! excellent capture!:)*5
