Another picture from my Oceanside collection. Picture was taken with a Nikon D5100 18-55 Kit Lens. Post work done in Lightroom 3.6.

Black and gold...I love it! The silhouettes are what make this shot, I think and the lone gull is a great anchor for this shot! It's both warm and lonely, which is a great and unexpected combination. Well, maybe not "lonely" per se, but there's a solitary vibe going on and it's quite relaxing. I love the sunlight and the way it darkens toward the edges of the photo and the reflection on the water is really beautifully-captured. Yeah, this is a really, nice shot.
