after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
Â
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Super work on this my friend... awesome really. I think that your video card may very well be the crux of your problems.

This looks fantastic both zoomed and on the page, Steve, a superb birthday dedi for Rita~ So glad you've got your pc set up and your content's working for you, that's such great news! I'm not that great at pc troubleshooting but if I come across information that might help, I'll send you a sitemail. Again, a wonderfully crafted scene for Rita's b-day, excellent work!

I was gonna say this image looks really good and I would keep the card if I could. Excellent night lighting and your smokey/hazy postwork is always supreme. I can tell you for sure that the root of the issue lies with the video card. I have a network at home and both computers share a 24" monitor. They have two different graphic cards and there is a difference in the size of rendered images between the two. Also, if you have small amount of memory on the graphic card that will definitly cause poser to crash during a render and will also slow down your preview screen when you try to move the camera. You need the biggest fastest graphics card you can get your hands on - 1 G min for poser2012.

Wonderful image.Truly Gothic dark and fun. I love your work. About your video resolution problems there is a video card setting in Control Panel follow the Start>Settings>Control Panel path There you will find Appearances and Themes Under this grouping there is a item called Change the Screen resolution You can then tinker with the screen settings and find a resolution you like. Hope that helps: Other possibility is that the system is starting up in Safe Mode which will give you an un-godly huge and ugly icons and aps. I can help you with that too if you need it. Now hopefully someone else has already helped you out but if not, give me a shout and I can help you get it fixed.

Awesome render, Steve! Looks like you're back on track, at least partially - good news indeed... I think Rene is on the right track..... Make sure your video card drivers are the latest and greatest.. that would be my first move. If you still have crashes, yeah, stick the other card in and see what happens.. Keep us informed!

The render is great and so are the lighteffects. It's a nice atmosphere with all that blue colors and a little touch of orange. Nothing wrong with this one. Gr.Rudy.
